the mount, eastleigh

Went for a mooch around this place at the weekend with my other half, it seemed like a good place to pop her urbex cherry, so to speak. we werent really concerned too much with the modern parts of the hospital, but they were all accessible anyway, and included amongst other things a fully functioning dumbwaiter which i took a ride in down to the basement. We were more concerned with the older "herman munsters house" part of the hospital, which i believe was an orthopaedic clinic. it does contain some fascinatingly small spiral staircases and, of course, a manky used matress up in the roof, which always makes me shudder a little bit. anyways, on with the pics..

hehe the dumbwaiter felt a bit like going onto a new level in Doom! it was in good nick though.

Its about a mile from the station towards Bishopstoke.

the mirror thing is no photoshoppery, i just moved around til it looked best and took a few and kept the best one.

theres always ways into those buildings, especially the old one, but one of the others is always doable too.
pm me if you want any hints.
