Default Lincoln County Hospital, Lincoln - December 2010

With maltings in mind, KooK and I headed off across the snowy wastes of West Yorkshire to our neighbouring county of Lincolnshire.

Trudging through knee deep snow we found our way into this derelict section of Lincolnís main Hospital site.

Closed since the late 90ís, history is thin on the ground with regards to the specific clinical services provided by these buildings, on the ground floor Postman pat and other characters were painted on windows so we assumed something to do with kids... genius.

Didnít manage to find the Iron Lung, however, we didnít really want to hang around long downstairs as there were workmen milling around - disappointing.

    Here are a few photographs.

    Donít eat the yellow snow.

    Thanks for looking.

    J.

Good report, not seen any from here in a while.

Did you manage to see the Maltings as well?

Thanks - Unfortunately not, it took us an age to get to Lincoln thanks to the A15 being closed and us having to take a very convoluted detour into the town.

We did see St John's Asylum though, pictures to follow from KooK.
