This is my second visit to this massive site. Most of the buildings are in the process of being demolished but things seem to be going slowly. The last time I went in was my first proper explore for some time so I had decided to play it quite safe. That meant staying out the way and limiting myself to exploring the 2 buildings at the back of the site.

This time I would be amazed to see just how big and varied the site and it's decaying structures were.

As an added bonus, to my surprise the future Mrs Distopia agreed to join me and see what all the fuss was about. She clearly loved it and I cant say I blame her. It probably isnt the most romantic date we have ever been on though :)

This was open as you like a couple of weeks ago when I went - Think the demo team might be onto all the urbex of this place :(

..They apparently only had enough sheet metal for one of the 15 or so buildings luckily!

A quick re-visit to the buildings at the back. I decided to use this visit as an excuse to get to grips with HDR a bit more - so apologies for the gluttony of these type of shots.

The world's smallest room

OK, probably need to pull back the HDR dial at this point :)

Did I mention that this place is massive? Lets see what's up the water tower...

I really really would not drink this water.

This place was disgusting! I have some serious making up to do for dragging the Mrs into this place. Just glad we both wore gloves.

Used to be a grand theatre looking at what's left. Sadly it is now simply 'Demolition site No. 63'

As I mentioned, very mich MID-demolition!

This was spectacular when I noticed it. You can see through the center of the entire complex using these corridors. I want to come back just to get some better pictures of this!

The learning center - I can't describe how much I like this room!

Really enjoyed these pics...thanku

What on earth was the small room all about???

On closer inspection it is clearly just a toilet. That makes sense I suppose. These rooms all look so strange and out of context with everything stripped down to the brick.

Excellent!!

Good work fella
This is the kind of site that is an absolute joy to find.By the way,the HDR adjusted pics are superb. Nice one!!!

Not much left of snips hair salon then.

Did you happen to notice if the access to the service tunnels has been blocked up yet?

Cool pics btw, did you go all the way to the top of the water tower? have they removed the uber dangerous tank that was up there?
