I'm guessing everyone knows the history on this place by now but for somewhere so local I only went there a few months ago. It's fairly vandalised now compared to general decay but Molitor House, Woodside & the dining room end, mother/baby unit, & the buildings behind there from the square building [not sure what that was?!?] all the way through to the hall & the curved corridor were still standing.

We had no issues going in & walking about that day but I was up by there this weekend & there was activity/vans & trailers/few people inside the main gates.

I know of a few others who want to go again soon so will update on condition when/if I get there again.

Anyway, glad I went & a handful of photos from the visit!!

Bizarre you should mention that, I was only talking to someone about the killer owls on sunday!

They wont demolish the remaining buildings until a viable plan for the site has been passed and is being implemented because all the buildings house bats, and provisions need to be made for them before they can demo them, and provisions wont be made for them until the developer is developing the site!
