These photographs were taken four years ago inside Maple House, one of the nurses' residences at Barnet General. They had already been closed for five years, during which time the local chavs set fire to a nearby building.

The inside of this building was reasonably intact and there were a few things left behind. Many of the nurses were from the Philippines and, as you can see, were quite religious.

It looked very intact. A Pinoy nurse dealt with my father when he died and she was wonderful. Add to which we made a lot of friends in Coron a few years abck and almost all are still in touch via FB. They really are a lovely people.

Great pix there. Loved it!
