Default Severalls Hospital - July 2012

Finally got to visit Severalls this weekend in the good company of UE-OMJ (Big thanks for being my guide !)

Despite the monsoon conditions driving down and then the heavy rain from leaving the cars until we returned I found it a really enjoyable visit. We got just as wet inside the building as well due to roof leaks and huge lakes in the corridors ! Nothing like driving home afterwards soaking wet and stinking !!

The site was huge and despite it being UE-OMJ 5th or 6th visit we still managed to see a part he hadn't seen !!

My pictures are my take on the place and I hope you see something you different when viewing.....

If there is a fence round it then it must be worth looking at !

Why go through a door when there's a perfectly good window?

About us
DerelictPlaces is a forum for people with an interest in the history and documentation of disused, derelict and abandoned buildings to come together and share their experiences, photography and historical findings. Our military, industrial and historical heritage is fast disappearing under the pressure of regeneration, the need for new housing, and often through simple neglect; Our aim is to document these places before they disappear entirely.
