Rossendale General Hospital

The old hospital began life, in part as Haslingden Workhouse, in the late 1860s and an infirmary was only established on site in 1912. This was known as Moorlands Infirmary before the name change to Rossendale General Hospital after the Second World War. It finally closed its door in 2010, and is now in the state of was hospital now derp.....

Once your in, its a pretty chilled mooch, some bits are majorly derped, some bits are just moss and some bits still faintly smell like hospital....although nowhere near as much as some other medical related sites!!!

Didn't manage to see the morgue this time, its on a seperate part of the site, aaaaaaaaaaaand Mr security and his lovely Alsation but an end to that! Anyway he went away thinking better luck next time, and we went away with some photoings so job was a goodun as far as we were concerned!!!

Pictoorz

I was treated here! I find it astounding that it's getting so trashed so quickly with security on site who is apparently well on the ball.

Depressing.
