Nicely done, love the squatter's(?) message - at least he got straight to the point! :)

Great photos. I particularly liked the one of the notice about the unsafe floor.

Engineering Manager, Graham Tasker should have been taken to task for his spelling/grammar.

"Do Not Enter This Room - The Floor In Unsafe"

On the other hand, perhaps he reckoned nobody would spot the mistake, with it being the eye hospital.

Great photos L, hope you're looking forward to Sunday ;)
Was the floor as unsafe as the messages suggest?
I wonder why there was a paper from '71

aha :) yes looking forward to tomorrow, times may change as to when we are up there will let you know later....

the floor was actually ok, it was the giant asbestos signs everywhere that was concerning!

as for the paper from '71... jobs at Asda - 8 a week! :)

About us
DerelictPlaces is a forum for people with an interest in the history and documentation of disused, derelict and abandoned buildings to come together and share their experiences, photography and historical findings. Our military, industrial and historical heritage is fast disappearing under the pressure of regeneration, the need for new housing, and often through simple neglect; Our aim is to document these places before they disappear entirely.
