malvernbury nursing home

im new to the site !

recommend by dirtyjigsaw

so this was my 6th explore and i am getting more and more involved, just finding time really.
waking up at 2 am in Kent gathering all of my stuff and then making my way to fellow explorers house mr mockingbird we hit the road at 3 am. heading for a long day of many explores first was malvernbury nursing home Worcestershire. arriving just in time for sunrise. in the torrential rain we vacated the car and started planning our entry.

first wall about 5 feet high from the road and from the other side about 10 feet or more instantly was a no go as we would get in but not out again. and then we found a gate sadly had one nail half in the top freezing cold hands i managed to pull it out and we was in ... and back went the nail.

next was a extremely slippery hill with a drop at the bottom helped by a zimmer frame

and then a short walk around the building and we was inside hoping for the dry. no chance! the building had seen better days water pouring through the roofs and ceilings, gave it a really eary feel in the dark.

enough of me time for some pictures not many tho as i only have a basic camera nothing fancy!

Nice one Jellybean. very moody shots, alot like Mockingbird. What camera do you use out of interest? Also, is that the pig mask from Saw films?!!

its a fuji finepix was cheap one from tesco got it about 3 years ago nothing special but only just learning the world of photography.

the mask is just from ebay been getting quite a few comments on facebook

my aim is to get a better camera

Everyone starts somehwere mate. I wasnt great at photography when i started, but ive gotten much better just using it and going out exploring!!

Excellent first report mate,and like jigsaw says..it's all about practice..I am always learning..
