Many thanks to Prickly_buzz for being taxi man for the day and for showing me the place. A massively overdone explore and very popular for beginner explorers in Kent as we all know, but I thought I'd post it up here just to show it's most recent state of decay.
Couldn't believe it when I got inside - this is easily the most trashed site I've ever seen!
Looking around, we were convinced that people had come a long way to wreck the place. Pb reckons that it's gone way down hill since he was last there not so long ago.
This is basically what's left of what would have been a sprawling site with Victorian origins (all the old buildings are long gone now, sadly). Still though, there's more of it standing than I thought there would be...but for how much longer I'm not sure. We were unable to gain access to the doctor's surgery next to it and I assume this was where the squatters were as mentioned in the last report, as the boarding had been very recently patched up.

The peeling paint and corridors are great.

Pretty sad stuff really. I only find some solace in the fact that the primitives are taking out their anger on this place rather than some other place that is older, ornate or more special. Full set on my Flickr. I also took some pictures with my 35mm, so stay tuned for those...hopefully they won't be too crap
