Default Peterborough District Hospital, August 2015

Bit of a backup plan this one after another location didnít get off the ground. Not much left to see now, however a great little explore none-the-lessÖ The site is pretty much just a shell now with the majority of the site demolished, leaving only part of the main building standing. Had the camera with me at this one but decided not to use it, plus an awesome test for my new phone haha!

Im sure you all know the history on this place so won't bore you with that.

Also hello to the other explorers if you are on here! We spotted you from the cars while you were on the roof and gave you a wave :D

...and the only thing left that we found in the entire building...

I'm liking what you got of whats left. Great stuff.

Haha bet you wondered what we were up to haha! We literally just got back to the cars and saw you walking up the stairs above the main entrance haha, we were waiting for all the pigeons to fly off and see a head appear on the roof haha, 5 mins later exactly that happened haha!

We walked back down the road to see if that train depo was abandoned, it looked it and certainly does look it on the map but no way in there at all.

Looking forward to seeing your pictures though!

About us
DerelictPlaces is a forum for people with an interest in the history and documentation of disused, derelict and abandoned buildings to come together and share their experiences, photography and historical findings. Our military, industrial and historical heritage is fast disappearing under the pressure of regeneration, the need for new housing, and often through simple neglect; Our aim is to document these places before they disappear entirely.
