UOTE=mockingbird;314756]Despite the scaffolding on the stairs, its still a beautiful place so good job Mr Wombat :D[/QUOTE]

    Thanks mate
At least it means they will probably keep the staircase, even if it wasn't as photogenic as it used to be.

    Thanks
    great to see the walkway
we didn't encounter security, but there are some.
also a bit of activity; foliage clearing with a chainsaw, and trucks / diggers driving round the site
    be cautious if visiting

I didn't think this was doable these days! Place I had always wanted to have seen but thought I was too late, obvs not. Great set there.

didn't think this was doable either. Especially when the water tower went.
Glad I got to see it again; it's a cracking place

About us
DerelictPlaces is a forum for people with an interest in the history and documentation of disused, derelict and abandoned buildings to come together and share their experiences, photography and historical findings. Our military, industrial and historical heritage is fast disappearing under the pressure of regeneration, the need for new housing, and often through simple neglect; Our aim is to document these places before they disappear entirely.
