A few photos of a trip to Hellingly Asylum with Fiendicus, Midnight, Site and Littlematt.

Hellingly was a good explore, although in places it was like a death trap with the floors. We almost lost midnight through a floor in a dodgy coridoor:eek:

Watch out for security as they have loose dogs. We only found this out when we were chased after leaving the buildings...

Lol yeah... Jonboy have we ran any faster then that in our lives? i think we might of got the 100M dash record  Nice photos

Was certainly a shock after being told there were no dogs at hellingly

Sure they were security and not just someone out walking their dog? Were you chased by people with dogs or just by dogs? Seems odd, I can't imagine a security guard letting dogs loose to make chase. Whatever the case it sounds like it got the adrenalin pumping some.

Poor battered Hellingly, it is a right old state. That said, most of the ward's roofs are in good shape, one of those would make a fantastically cool house, just have three HUGE open plan floors. :)

Yeah, it's mainly the ground floors that are rotten.

I'm pretty sure the security arrangements there do not include a dog unit. Also, if you were actually being chased by a proper guard dog, it'd catch you. Best bet if you're ever chased is to stand still and avoid eye contact with the beast.

It was Hellingly security...

One of the guards caught up with us on the main drive. He told us that they let the dogs run loose inside. The other guard was on the path holding the dogs colar.

There was a good distance between us when we spotted them. They may have called the dogs off so they didn't bite us.

The guard was friendly and said he had no problem with us taking photos, he was more worried about the dogs biting us

I'm not surprised, if the dogs did bite then you could sue them and get the dogs put down, regardless of the fact you were trespassing!

Yeah i think he was more worried about that but the guy that caught up with us was nice enough, but the guy holding the dog looked well pissed off  i mean as long as none of us got hurt ( apart from nearly falling through the floor LMAO) really didnt matter.. ;)
