Default Rauceby Asylum - July 2017

Took a trip out to Rauceby, hit some other spots but some were more successful than others. Had to evade security to get a look in here but it was totally worth it. The history has been done a hundred times.

Really looking quite bare in there! Cool pics PS :) like the brown glazed bricks, so much damp and dereliction seems to have lead to the paint peeling off and revealing their full gov/health authority glory!

Yeah a couple of large rooms are even missing floors, really have to watch your step in there. Really don't understand how people can kick back and drink beer in that damp.

About us
DerelictPlaces is a forum for people with an interest in the history and documentation of derelict and abandoned buildings to come together and share their experiences, photography and historical findings. Our military, industrial and historical heritage is fast disappearing under the pressure of regeneration, the need for new housing, and often through simple neglect; Our aim is to document these places before they disappear entirely.
