I know this explore was a while ago but I decided not to waste these photos. I visited this site in Jan 2018 and was vandalized and equipment had been removed.
Me and my friend, ExplorerX, found this site accidentally whilst heading to another explore. Once we found this, we instantly canceled our next planned explore and headed here. On arrival nothing had changed apart from the alarm being smashed. The first building appeared to be admin and minor treatment.
Although as this was furthest away form the operating half of the hospital it was also the most vandalized.
Nothing too special. So we moved on to the other ward.
This next ward was day care, I assume, and had been set alight. Due to the smell inside we decided it was not safe to stay inside. I got very few photos as it was too dark.
We moved on.
Next was the untouched Dementia and Alzheimer's ward known as the "Memories Ward" although prior to this it would have treated Autism before more buildings had been constructed.
It also had "Waring Alarm" Scribbled on the door to one of the hallways. We took as many photos as we could before we attempted to open the door.
So we risked it. We opened the door and....
No alarm. We were safe.
Although, there was power to the exit lights and some switches so we were careful.
At first it felt like the other wards. Lifeless and dull.
Then I opened a door and that changed rather quickly.
That was the highlight. The rest of this ward featured other interesting finds such as a bath adaped to wheelchair users (I assume) and functional pianos.
Once we completed this ward there was very little left of interest.
Apart from a staff area this was it
Unfortunately on a revisit in late December2017 or January 2018 (I can't remember) we found that everthing had been removed.
Also to add to this we encountered vandals on that day which we found rather hilarious chasing off.
Which can be seen in ExplorerX's video. https://youtu.be/srSvHycCsuE
Anyway thanks for reading. Sorry if it seems a bit too late to post but here it is!
