History

Minffordd Hospital is a small community hospital that closed in 2006. The hospital was built in the aftermath of the 1882 typhoid epidemic that accounted for 42 deaths around the Bangor area. The hospital had a number of isolation wards.

Minffordd Hospital is near Bangor and is a ruined bombed out shell, this is Bron y Garth Hospital in Minffordd which is rather nice.

A little confusing I know!
 
It's in a weird location between the two, we drove past and seen it and thought worth a look ��
 
So nice to see this place hasn't changed at all. I never saw that bath on my visit! Great photos :)
