Me and man gone wrong had done a few weekends exploring in Kent.we had a few places lined up and the first one we were going to we did not bother with as I remembered this place on the way down.so a quick change of mind we headed to see the situation.we were not sure if it was even still derelict as not seen any recent pics from it.we soon found a way in and it was nice and easy relaxed explore, going back about seven years this place was mint with all the equipment in.sadly its stripped now and the yobs have got to it.on the plus side it has decayed nicely and a lot of it there was,and some really nice features.i really enjoyed this a lot more than I thought ad we spent a fair while there.there was two chapels and the remains of a morgue.one chapel was quite modern and I was to hot too climb through the hole. The second and third floors were identical. I liked the ground floor were the x ray rooms were.the children's ones had murals on the wall ad brightly coloured changing rooms..The royal was opened in 1848 as the Folkstone dispensary. Later on it was known as dispensary and infirmary.then it was the royal and finally the royal Victoria till it closed in 2009.there is still a smaller section of the hospital still in use

That is one serious case of peeling paint. I had a problem trying to identify what some of the rooms served as. But did you not take a picture of the same Belfast twice from a different angle just to confuse Smiler.

Lovely stuff mate, I really enjoyed my solo visit here. Been pretty spoiled for hospitals so far this year but the decay in here has been the best. That reminds me, I need to get my finger out and start posting again like I promised you I would! ; )
