Since I haven't been posting on here for like forever, I'll get adding some of my older places whilst the editing room is overloaded.

This one, I thought I had lost from my hard drives, only for it to turn up on a memory card I had physically lost. Anyhow, a lovely little hospital out in the east of Edinburgh. Sadly long gone now.

Exploring this little place was a tad difficult - not very big and a mahoosive security boy in the building with you.

On with the pics.

Although along the back lay the obligatory open fire escape

Moving inside there was a welcome abundance of bits and bobs

Then back into the corridors

Which is where things started to go a little wrong. Mr Mahoosive the Secca boy was lurking around the corridor. Just around that corner, there was a double door. Silent as a mouse I slipped through the door. And stopped dead in my tracks. About 80ft down the corridor was Mr Mahoosive. Fortunately he was so focused on not spilling his big cuppa tea.... he didn't notice me standing in the darker end of the corridor. He started inching his way along the corridor - being very careful with the hot cuppa and about thirty ft away turned off to his right. Completely oblivious to the muppet standing silently at the and of the corridor.

After this, we beat a hasty retreat, as it wasn't worth getting the last room at the other end.

Sad as hospitals are (death, illness), I like those photos - they have a very different feel to them. I dunno. Moonlit? Pass but they're good.
I bet you wet your pants when Mr Secca walked towards you. I would!

Looks like a hospital for old folk?

Interesting, had forgotten all about this one. IIRC there was something else good near Loanhead…

Although along the back lay the obligatory open fire escape

Funny how people get complacent with things like physical security, just because there's a guard on site…

Hi, I really enjoy the pictures. Would you be by any chance happy/willing to share the originals/original files especially for the external shots? It would only be for personal use (historical interest for that area) and would be very happy for you to protect images with your name/signature. Please let me know.
