Default Two small hospital explores, East Anglia, 2019

    Intro
Over the last few months I have stumbled across these disused hospital buildings and although too small for an individual report I'd put them all in here.

The first building is part of a much larger hospital that closed less than a year ago. We struggled to find an entry and after some difficulty we were in. Once inside we stumbled across and unexpected discovery and 2 minutes later we realised the security signs were not lying, they do live inside, so that was that.

So after that we left, nice guy, told us about the constant battle with kids taking lead of the roof and how the operating room had been emptied.

Earlier on we visited this small building on the grounds of an active site and had been surprised what was inside. The building felt like a more European house than a UK hospital anyway on with the 3 usable photos.

    Anyway that'll be all.

The second place was rather special, lovely architecture made up for the lack of stuff.

About us
DerelictPlaces is a forum for people with an interest in the history and documentation of disused, derelict and abandoned buildings to come together and share their experiences, photography and historical findings. Our military, industrial and historical heritage is fast disappearing under the pressure of regeneration, the need for new housing, and often through simple neglect; Our aim is to document these places before they disappear entirely.
