    Post St Georges Stafford.

This place has been quite well explored by others,However we took a trundle over to Stafford recently for an in depth look at the old place. Our team consisted of ASHLESS,KAPUTNIK,DRAMA QUEEN,TIMEWARP & JOHNO 23.Here is a selection of our pictures.

A once grand and proud establishment.

    The grand water tower.

The arch above the original stage.

The roof of the stage house.

    Burnt out stage control gear.

A retired workshop in the base of the water tower.

Part of the water treatment plant in same area.

Seriously heavy duty electrics everywhere, they must have used some power in that place.

Incoming floor, weather and elements have not done the place any favours.

    Another example of natures wrath.

The hilarity, amusement and laughter I caused when I put my great fat foot through the floor.

The whole upper section is on its way to the basement too:)

    A favourite of mine.

One of the huge basement areas, its a bit stinky down here.

A scary dissolving chair in the basement.

A great day out in good company, special thanks to Ashless for being the chauffeur and guide for the day.
More pictures from rest of team to follow very shortly.
How come I always find the deep water, pigeon crap and rotten floor boardslol

Following on from Johno23 above here a few of my pics.

An original window frame in a large basement.

An old staff clocking in machine.

    A frankenstein style fusebox

An original wet rising main fire hose outlet.

    My favorite window picture.

    Typical long corridor shot.

My favourite, ornate iron work on main staircase.

A large retired green house in the grounds.

    Thanks Ashless top day out:)

lol..No,we had to call on the team medic to repair Ashless`s fingers,he just doesnt get on with broken glass in window frames:):),however his efforts were well worth the efforts and the first aid stuff as he saved us from having to dangle from great heights to get from A to B.

That mould is scary we have never seen anything like it ever,I am sure it was watching us

Did you get up the water tower or on the roof? Top view from up there.
"Safety First." ... "Aw fuck it, fun before safety!"
"He's called Matt, and he crashes, lots."

Lol, anyone would think i'm accident prone! I suffer for my art!

Anyway, yes I took Kaputnik up to the top of the water tower, brilliant view as always.....

    The team loving the pharmacy.

Drama Queen reading the poem in a day room

An old model of the site, the water tower and a few other buildings had dropped off but they were covered in basement juice and spider poo so if you want a pic you can go get them yourself! :)

About us
DerelictPlaces is a forum for people with an interest in the history and documentation of disused, derelict and abandoned buildings to come together and share their experiences, photography and historical findings. Our military, industrial and historical heritage is fast disappearing under the pressure of regeneration, the need for new housing, and often through simple neglect; Our aim is to document these places before they disappear entirely.
