I had my second trip around Denbigh last week, in the year or so since my 1st visit it's gotten into a much worse state, with a lot more collapse around the corridors and some very unsafe floors (which I put my foot through - ouch!).

Funnily enough we entered through exactly the same way I did on my 1st journey in, not much changed here, apart from a missing wheelchair I seem to recall (click on images to get to flickr page to view larger)

Oh, and I missed the mortuary again this time around, if anyone can drop me a PM detailing where on the site it is, that'd be very much appreciated.

Thanks

There's loads of these dark, sloping corridors around the place, and plenty of opportunities to lie down in the dirt to photograph em

ANd of course, plenty of other crumbling corridors

Apparently, the exit, somehow it doesnt fill me with hope :)

And yet more shadowy figures in the way

The great hall, complete with disco ball :)

I'm a sucker for shots through shattered windows like this, I took far too many :)

Do you want 2 play a little game?

Still got loads more to upload, will try to add to this thread once i'm done

What a great place :)

Shame you didn't get to the mortuary though.
(would love to see it)

hope the shadowy figures were with you

Thanks Chewy,

Don't worry, once i find out where exactly on the site the mortuary is, i'll be back within days :)

Thank you so much for that Lightbuoy, already making plans now with friends on returning to get pictures of the mortuary :)

Love the one of the broken glass window.

Great pics! I see what you mean about the state of the place! It does look bad. Still, I wouldn't mind a visit though if we get down that way ever.

First and last shots are class belial. I love the look of this place but is a long way away from me.

Thanks all,

and a big thank you to those who replied telling me where the mortuary is, i'm making a return visit to Denbigh in the next week or two so will post results from that trip as well (and i'll be better prepared!).

@Bertroot, good to see a familiar name around here mate!
