Denbigh Asylum - June 2008

I had my second trip around Denbigh last week, in the year or so since my 1st visit it's gotten into a much worse state, with a lot more collapse around the corridors and some very unsafe floors (which I put my foot through - ouch!).

Funnily enough we entered through exactly the same way I did on my 1st journey in, not much changed here, apart from a missing wheelchair I seem to recall (click on images to get to flickr page to view larger)

Oh, and I missed the mortuary again this time around, if anyone can drop me a PM detailing where on the site it is, that'd be very much appreciated.

There's loads of these dark, sloping corridors around the place, and plenty of opportunities to lie down in the dirt to photograph em





ANd of course, plenty of other crumbling corridors





Apparently, the exit, somehow it doesnt fill me with hope






And yet more shadowy figures in the way

Great pics! I see what you mean about the state of the place! It does look bad. Still, I wouldn't mind a visit though if we get down that way ever.
