Hi everyone,

The 'Orphanage' of St Joseph's which was its origional purpose was later converted into a hospital and convalescent home, alot of the site consisted of the hospital which was located right next to the breathtaking chapel.
Anyways it was an unexpectedly great exploration and nice to spend a day exploring St Jo's and Thanks to Gim for putting up with me:thumb

Groundunder it unfortunately not in beautiful Dorset its in Lancashire (not far from Blackpool), still if you can get out of the towns theres some prettyness up there, I just didn't have time to see any of it but I always think Whittingham is picturesque as Hell!
I always see people that look like Jesus and everytime I do they look more and more like him:p
Thanks Matt, I didn't go up up the tower I just took that pic from the 1st floor.
Sal Glad you liked the b&w, always my personal favourite to look at b&w pics too.I'm not sure if that was taken on a mezzanine (uuh because right now I can't actually think what a mazzanine is:confused:)

Nice one. These pics are great. My mum worked there till it closed recently and whenever I went I thought it was a great building with some properly odd looking rooms. Some of the upstairs rooms in the roof space were decidedly odd, especially thee rooms used by the staff.

Stunning pictures, looks like a picturesque building love picture no.3. Is the first picture taken with a fish eye lense btw?
