Went up there early afternoon and had a good look around although couldn't get inside for any shots but planning to return. Anybody interested get in touch!

My first visit to such a place and it was great, a misty day perfect for photos (they'll follow very soon). Managed to walk almost all the way around it and some of the outbuilding parts. The greenhouse was very atmospheric!
Was taking photos for an art project, and being still a 35mm user will post as soon as developed!

They are a tad boingy, or non existant

At least if you can see holes you know to be cautious, it's when you're on 'solid' floors, and suddenly have a WHOOOAAAA! moment!

Yeah I did manage to have a peek through some of the windows and noticed the state of the floors, although looked pretty solid in other places. Noticed all the bits of roof and floors that have fell right through in one place too. Didn't venture inside on that trip as had no torch and it was very very dark inside.

Natalion and I are looking to do a asylum sometime soon, although it might have to wait until after we can drive unless we can get very flexible lifts (with the exception of 2 days we work alternate shifts). We're both starting just after new year.

Looking forward to seeing your pics!
