Default Fair Mile Asylum, Moulsford - Dec 08

Visited with ukmayhem and wifebeater. Many thanks for a great day, spent a good 6odd hours inside the main hospital. It's nice to see a site in such good condition, not having been torched by the local filth.

On with the pics as the history has already been posted recently.

Scratches on the inside - someone obviously wanted out

There were stacks upon stacks of old magazines left

The majority of the hospital was incredibly brightly coloured:

    Patients, staff or explorers?

    The wooden wing...

Lots more in the full set on Flickr

About us
DerelictPlaces is a forum for people with an interest in the history and documentation of disused, derelict and abandoned buildings to come together and share their experiences, photography and historical findings. Our military, industrial and historical heritage is fast disappearing under the pressure of regeneration, the need for new housing, and often through simple neglect; Our aim is to document these places before they disappear entirely.
