This site has been well covered and documented by MD,mr sam & Goldie87.
I visited there myself today along with jameswildcooper with the intention of finding the Air raid shelter and getting some good pics before they tear it all down.

The site is so huge you could spend all day there photographing and still not see it all,I especially loved the boiler room and the Air raid shelters.

Good stuff mate, its good to see those air raid shelters are still do-able
 
Sweet explore mate.The first couple of pics look like the pigeons have had a field day of crapping on everything,lol. Those are great pics and some really interesting items to be found. Nice job.;)

We managed the 2 steel water towers,was trying to figure out how to do the biggey,thought about roof of a car.

How did the experts do it ?
 
Great site & great pictures. Really like your first picture, is it an access cover ?
 
It is an access cover,but only small.It was the only one i spotted.The hole site has ducting tunnels all over it but all the covers are gone,not sure if they all had BUSM on them.

Thanx alot to the local pikeys for stealing them.:(

there used to be some funny ladders near the skip
like shelf stacking ones from a shop use them for the water tower:)
 
Nice one MD,i did see some wooden ones somewhere on site !

You got me on it the other day Goldie87 when you on about chalk,then i spotted the board and thought it looked bare without my name so i wrote it twice:lol:
