Craigo Jute mill is in a remote village which barely looks as though it could have employed enough people to run the mill! I think it shrunk in size along with the demand for textile production.

It is very well preserved, and I was quite surprised when Lost exclaimed that it had been closed for around 20 years. It was also surprising to see how much stock was left behind when the place closed down (mainly imported raw materials).

Nice little place, rather 'amusing' exit :)

Great find guys. Looks in good nic especially if its been abandoned for 20 years. The only thing is the forklift looks to be in too good a condition and too new just to leave behind.

Another cool site, I quite enjoyed this place. Nice variety of shots there to chief.

Another fine report Sir :)

Hmm -those old wooden carts in pic 9 sure do look familiar -resemble those carts that MJ Fox pinched from the kid in BTTF Part 1
