SPS Technologies is an American based company, it's Coventry plant manufactured fasteners for the Automotive industry.

The plant closed sometime in 2008 and is largely and has been empty since then.

There is not much left inside, it hasn't been too badly vandalised, but there is quite a bit of water damaged as the water supply is still on and there are a few leaks, that being said it was nice to be somewhere that still had windows.

The offices although stripped of all company related material are in excellent condition, despite some flooding. There does not seem to be any broken glass anywhere, which is quite unusual in thes places.

As I was leaving I spotted this notice!

There is also a social club onsite but the building is well sealed.

I may return in a few weeks to see if anything has changed.

Nice find. I guess there are a few of these in Coventry at the moment, with Rolls Royce, Jaguar and Peugeot all having closed down or moved out.

I think Stonegalleon are/were a separate company who just rented part of the premisies.

Whilst driving passed this place last week I noticed that the site had been sold.

Not sure what it will be used for though.

I will pop back for another look soon.
