This is a follow on from 85 Vintage's rather excellent thread, which can be found here Thanks for taking us, it was a great explore :)
Quite a bit of the factory is in good condition, due to it's rural location. I am informed by 85 Vintage that there has been quite a bit of pikey action recently, although this seems mainly focussed on the office buildings.
I have put these pictures in a seperate thread because I have quite a few and really can't narrow them down ;)

Many thanks to 85 Vintage for taking us :) hopefully Peter will put some pictures up too.

Thanks for looking!

Ah right, the cows were next door, and made some creepy noises, though I doubt that the milk was sourced from there.

Your flash photo of the power control room has turned out well, looks nearly as nice as the light painted one :)

[EDIT] I just remembered how fast I used the torch, which is slightly evident when you look at the photo, so it is light painted then, at 1/60th of a second exposure

I did try one of the cooling tower with a longer exposure, but it was a bit blurred, I am quite pleased with it too :)

So this is the place you were on about. Looks massive and great. Love the Chemicals. What were they?

Mainly Sodium Thiosulphate, Silver Nitrate and Hydrochloric acid, the ones in the cupboard were Silver Nitrate though :)

Liking those old Labs and HUGE open spaces. Some good pics there. Always good to see something different -cheers! :)

cool looking place, out of interest whereabouts in leicestershire is it? i'm from leicester originally, PM me if you don't wanna post it on here.

It is near Cropwell Bishop. Certainly round the Harby area somewhere, best ask 85 Vintage if you are still having trouble finding it, as he is the one who drove me there :)
It is a very nice site, a few of the offices are trashed, but as you go into the upper parts of the roof the infrastructure up there is fine, and untouched.
