Marley Tiles, Newcastle May 2009

Visited this place with Skin. As guessed from the title, this place made tiles. Roof tiles to be exact. It is quite a bit out and we had fun looking at stuff that had been dumped before reaching the factory. The rubbish was quite a nostalgia trip as I found part of a Chimney Pot House and some of the old Teenage Mutant Hero Turtle stuff from before they gave them horrible eyes and modernised them.


Anyways, on to the pictures:

I've no issue with 28 Days Later but I still secretly wished that it said "tools."


It looked slightly phallic and made me laugh. I know how immature that is and don't care.




I could just imagine some post-apocalyptic tribe leader standing on here and giving a speech. Interesting concrete structure.
