Flude Hosiery was one of hinckleys biggest Hosiery manufacturers
and closed early 2006.

I tried to do the Vulcan the day before..
Went to Wado on the sat with thy sister and the darn thing wasn't flying due to lack of permits or some balls like that. You could see it on the other side of the runway too !!
I was so cross i nearly cried and had to make do with the lovely Lancaster and a Typhoon ripping the sky up.
Was a good explore for a quite weekend afternoon tho.

cool, was in hinckley last weekend too! am wondering if there's any shoe factories still left in nearby barwell...remember reading a story about all that weed that got busted in an old factory there not long ago.

I see that this place is now open. I tried it a few months back when I was at Sketchleys with no joy.

A revisit is now on the cards.
