Its rare to find industrial labs that haven't been gutted or stripped out when the works closed.

I loved this place, Packed full of exciting bits of lab equipment, books, manuals, etc. There were several Chemical labs, Electrical lab, a workshop and a great room housing some Denison Pressure testers. I'd previously only seen units that were completely stripped so it was great to find one that hadn't been trashed. The whole place had a great feel of the thirties about it.

Hopefully Wots can post some more photos when he gets the chance!

You lucky bu**er.

What an amazing place. So many nooks and crannies - drawers to be opened, parcel shelves, machines to be played with. I'm soo jealous.

I'd be in there for a week! Thanks for posting.

Ooooooooooh I liked the place you did, but this place is awesome. All those machines, bottles, test tube stands, the lot. Fantastic. Absolutely love it. I'd be spending more than a week here. I'd be camped out in it lol.

Excellent find guys and excellent pics. Top notch. :)

Thats fookin brilliant looks like a museam, so much glass and none of it broken a really rare sight.

A cracking find there, Reaperman! looks like a real boffins laboratory.
2nd to last pic looks like a tensile strength tester, for checking how much force is needed to snap metal samples, bolts etc. only know as i used to have to occasionally machine test samples of various different grades of steel for a similar set up.

What a find!! fancy letting us know where abouts this is, or you just gunna leave us with these tantalising images:p;)
