    Default Karadia Trims, Leicester 08.09

Karadia Trims produced trimmings and edgings for various garments in the clothing industry, tho the company itself is still in business this site closed a few years back. Not much to see inside as its been fully stripped but its quite a nice structure in its self...
Got MD to take me for a poke about whilst in between splores as i hadn't seen it yet.
Really liked the safe in the basement and the mosaic floor exposed by a dripping sprinkler system, the top floor's really nice too... carpeted with tiny dried bees tho..
Good little poke about really. L.L

Im liking the floor. Its always surprising with these type of buildings. They look dark from the outside, but when your inside, its quite unbelievable the amount of natural light that they have.

    Jack:)

    It's all over.

On the Second Floor, the door looked a bit suspect (wire around it etc) :(

About us
DerelictPlaces is a forum for people with an interest in the history and documentation of disused, derelict and abandoned buildings to come together and share their experiences, photography and historical findings. Our military, industrial and historical heritage is fast disappearing under the pressure of regeneration, the need for new housing, and often through simple neglect; Our aim is to document these places before they disappear entirely.
