Me and Neosea took a recent visit over to Stoke and this is what we found:

The Middleport Flint Mill (Calcining Works) (also known as Burslem Flint Mill) stands on the east bank of the Trent and Mersey Canal. Dating from the late 19th Century (1870s) it comprises of four groups of buildings surrounding a courtyard space which was once a wharf on the Canal.
The sites original form is barely evident from the extent of alteration and extension to the buildings, and the wharf is no longer evident. The company finally closed in 1972.

Here’s what we saw:

Ooooooooooooooooh now this is a place I really like. Excellent pics guys, it's a shame the wharf isn't there anymore. Any ideas on what the organ was doing in there?

Nice work, :)

i know where I'll be off to at some point next week. ;)

Thanks Sal, there was a Vauxhall spare parts company operating in the building at one point so I assume it is from that time... along with the beds and sofas around the place.

Enjoy:)
