Default BUSM / IVI, Leicester, Sept 2009

It's been a while since I went for an explore, so I decided to take a peek round BUSM. I took a peek round the buildings that contained IVI who make tacks and nails.

The buildings are well battered - not much graffiti though, but they aren't going to hold out for too long. It's pretty much a shell. I didn't take too many exterior shots for some reason. I think a revisit is necessary :)

    Love this window

Some of IVI's products that still littered the floor.

Found this box thing in one of the rooms. Had to look inside to see what was in it - only these keys with the paper tags on them.

There was loads of paperwork left in the office left there. Mostly goods receivable invoices from what I could make out. There was the front page of a Leicester Mercury there from 2002.

Found this hanging in a random little room.

    Creepy!

This is just an example of how battered the buildings are.

Hopefully I'll be visiting again soon for a better look :)

About us
DerelictPlaces is a forum for people with an interest in the history and documentation of disused, derelict and abandoned buildings to come together and share their experiences, photography and historical findings. Our military, industrial and historical heritage is fast disappearing under the pressure of regeneration, the need for new housing, and often through simple neglect; Our aim is to document these places before they disappear entirely.
