Visited back in July,

Britains leading supplier of feedstuffs for livestock. Formed as an amalgamation of BOCM Slicock and Pauls Agriculture in 1992. Pauls started out in the brewing industry trading malt and barley but this soon moved to trading maize and products to feed horses and other animals post 1900. BOCM was a producer of vegetable oils intended for human consumption and soap manufacture. The by-product of this was known as 'oilseed cake' which was a protein rich feed that could be easily fed to all types of animals.

Due to competition and economy this mill and various others were closed down in order to save money and keep the company in with the competition. This particular plant was closed in 2006.

Evidence of other buildings remain on site including the impressive brick facade of the admin building. All that remains is the main production building and another unknown building..

This place smells horrible due to rotten molasses and what not being spilled everywhere...not for those with weak stomachs ; D

Thanks for looking

well done mate think the other part was a silo of some type as thats what it looked like to me ?, I thought it had been pulled down nice pics:)

No idea what was on the rest of the site, on FE it just looks like the admin block was connected to a big warehouse with another few smaller warehouses on sie and a few bigger buildings that were connected directly to the remaining building...got no idea why they never knocked it down. Haha cheers mate:mrgreen:

they also have what looks like sheds but we never had time to check the out

We did see Mr Fox though. :)

Liking the 300mm shot over Glasgow ...

I encountered no wildlife other than the pedal power division of the local fleeto who came down, asked for cigarettes then cycled on.

Yeah I wish I got an 18mm one for comparison but never thought about it at the time...
