Not much left to see but OK for a quickie!

Friars Mill was occupied for many years by textile firm Donisthorpe & Co.

The Grade II listed buildings include the three storey mill building with an attached boiler house, a separate pump house and a row of former cottages. The other factory buildings that were on the site have been demolished.

A £60m redevelopment scheme has just been given the go-ahead on the site, including leisure and housing. The listed buildings will be incorporated.

Finished up at Bradgate Park but it is locked down tight. Why bother now when its totally wrecked?

Nice pics, I particuarly liked the first one of the gate looking on to the building, felt atmospheric.

nice work mate,
bradgate park is secured because the locals are so far up there own arses that they are 24-7 writting letters to the councill and calling the police even though its out the way and at the back of a woods,
i heard them moaning in a local pub because a stop sign had gone up on a local road saying they were writing letters to the council to apply to have it removed as its a eyesore

Nice pics, its a cool place. I was lucky enough to get in there before it was ripped apart. Not heard of any redevelopment being given the go ahead here recently. Planning permission was granted for some horrendous buildings some time ago, but it was all put on hold... [ame]http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=569174[/ame]
