Friars Mill was occupied for many years by textile firm Donisthorpe & Co.
The Grade II listed buildings include the three storey mill building with an attached boiler house, a separate pump house and a row of former cottages. The other factory buildings that were on the site have been demolished.
A £60m redevelopment scheme has just been given the go-ahead on the site, including leisure and housing. The listed buildings will be incorporated.
My pet budgie didnt like the atmos in here!!!!!
Finished up at Bradgate Park but it is locked down tight. Why bother now when its totally wrecked?
