I am afraid that I have been unable to trace any history of this place on the net but from what I found inside it was once occupied by John T Fleet Ltd and finally H.S Kang and Sons, the latter produced flour for Indian baking. Judging by the old newspapers left inside it closed around 1992.

It is a fantastic little place with almost no vandalism or graffiti and there is a lot of old stuff left behind, even the delivery truck!

Visited solo on a sunny Sunday morning.

Here are some pics.

Nice shots! Did you get up to the roof garden? Worth the climb, honestly! I love this place, and was thinking of taking a trip back now I can shoot super wide. Looks much more trashed that a couple years ago tho :(

Yes, I made it to the roof. The view is great, I was thinking of going back at night for some night shots.

It's a shame that the pikeys have been in, I wonder how long the rest of the stuff will last.

Not long I don't think. The longer it gets left open to the elements in such a rough area, it will get stripped slowly but surely. The basement was nice too, but I didn't spend enough time there last. Gotta go have another butchers!
