Norbert Dentressangle closed their Dunstable depot earlier this year after First Quench (ho ho) went belly up thus costing N.D. a very valuable distribution contract. First Quench owned Threshers, Wine Rack, Bottoms Up, Victoria Wine, The Local and Haddows. The majority of the distribution was undertaken in Dunstable and in all about 270 people were made redundant when the site closed.
It seems the site is now being demo-ed and I'm sure will be replaced with housing. As an explore, it's not going to set the world alight, but it did give me a change to have a bit of a play with a vintage film camera. The film was quite a bit past it's sell by date.
