saw this place this week done by Kona and Doozer, and while in the area i had to see it! history is from Kona's report.
The Spillers/ADM Mill was built in 1938 and comprised of two main buildings; the Silo to hold the grain and the Flour Mill which also had what looked like a warehouse on the bottom floor.
In Feb 2006, ADM (the current owners of the Spillers mill) announced they were to close the Newcastle mill and move production to other ADM Mills around the country; all milling here was stopped by May 2006.
from the outside round the back, only went in the building on the right as had some unwanted guests.
small tanks
mad pipe work, best is yet to come!!!
this room was a bit strange as it looked like it was only used yesterday compared to the rest of the place!
now hows this for mad pipe work?
top floor, dodgy wood slats that creaked like fook when stood on! so didnt go any further then this!
