Took an evening visit to the derelict cement works in August 2010 and grabbed some shots.
The site is pretty large, incorporating a main industrial area with the large buildings and chimneys which is just alongside the river, plus a smattering of outbuildings and a large expanse of unused ground. There's a one-time quarry which is now filled with water to form a rather pleasant lake.
My focus on this visit was the main industrial area, having walked around the lake area on a previous visit.
As others have posted (and the photos show) the state of the site is very derelict. There is lots of overgrowth. At one point, I nearly blundered into a wasps'/bees' nest (didn't stop to find out which it was) -- so be warned!
The main interest is external/architectural type shots, as there isn't much interior to explore.
Really great site, though, and worth visiting.
