"It was the end of the Twenties when Veduggio, the destination chosen by Luigi Fontana, began to turn, without his knowledge, into the worlwide capital of the bolt.
It was 1947 when the brothers Walter and Loris Fontana, stroke their first screw, with a machine they had built themselves.
Thus, founded in 1952 by the two brothers, the company from Veduggio has been following with firm belief, committment and ability the market evolution, pursuing with perseverance and success the goal of client satisfaction both as service and cost containement are concerned.
The positive results obtained by this brand, the international performance, the will to be protagonist drive the Fontana family to start an intense campaign for the acquisition of companies of the field and to create new production sites.
Today there is still one of the two founders, Cav. Loris Fontana, at the leadership of the company, supported by his sons and by a management staff.
Fontana Luigi S.p.A. ist the biggest Italian company for high-resistant bolts and one of the most important in the world"
