Visited as part of the cornwall meet, so thanks to Dangerous Dave & DJ Flava for the day out.

I didn’t find a great deal of history to this site but from walking around I would guess some of the site was still operational up until 2007 as some of the paperwork indicates.

Here are some pics from the day.

Looks like a fair size site. A previous post somewhere showed a small loco in the shed but it looks like its gone now.
I like the look of the site next door blackpool. Have you ever done that ???

Heh, I read this as 'Bungalow' the first few pics could have 'possibly' been from an unfinished bungalow, but as I kept scrolling and saw all the machinery I knew I'd read something wrong! Great report.

Burngullow! aka bungalow.

Here's a couple more shots of the third site we visited that day. Many thank's to Dave & Flava without whom none of this would have been possible.A smashing time was had by all, fond memories! as we sat back and ate our sandwiches fiilled with lashings of strawberry jam and china clay.
Hope I have'nt duplicated any of your shots Ingognito...

Nobody amongst us could figure this beguiling little device out,you turn the handle and the pan goes slowly up and down.wow! It was probably for grading the clay!

Many thanks once again to our good hosts,it was truly remarkable how many times we got lost.Never ask a farmer for directions in Cornwall they send you in the opposite direction,I kid you not.:)
