Colthrop, second visit

My first visit to Colthrop was with just a little Ixus but it really wet my appetite for this super abandoned paper mill. This time, on a beautiful sunny October day, I took my 5D and my favourite lens and had a good mooch around.

I won't repeat the history of Colthrop. There's plenty of information both here and on the interweb about it, so to a selection of my pics. I have an album of around 70 pics from this same explore on my website at bigger sizes than here.

I took a gander at your site and have come to the conclusion you have a pipe fetish!You need to go see Pyestock and seek help ok.Really nice shots though,and not a million miles from me either.Nice one Alan.

Haha! Thanks Klemps. Well, to be honest, Colthrop is all about pipes and valves really. And yes, I do fancy a gander at Pyestock. Gotta go, appointment with my pipeiatrist.

Nice pictures mate. it always amazes me how different a place looks through an awsome camera! I have visited this place alot through my childhood and obviously recently. this is the place that wetted my appetite for urban exploring

I tried Pyestock and failed. Just be careful which days you go as they have police dogs training there its all about luck really i was in for literally 10seconds before getting caught :| anyway Fantastic pics mate and good luck if you go to pyestock!
