Continuing my favourite summer explores.. Fantastic summer evening by the banks of the River Avon in Tweksbury.

Closed in 2006 after being in use since 1865. The grain used to be shipped up the river Severn from Avonmouth in traditional grain barges. Mothballed untill this summer when they started to remove the machinery. I don't think I'll ever see a mill quite as intact as this. Structurally the silo building to the left is starting to fall into the river, hence the lack of interested developers - otherwise they'd be snapping it up yesterday as it's in a beautiful location. I think it may be listed too.

This is such a lovely looking building. Nice one, Tumbles :)

Love it!

Looks awesome! Was it sinking? there isn't much they could as it would cost to much to repair and regain the building, so the probbability of it getting knocked down is great. So there isnt much more time to go have a look at it.
