Bridge End Mill (later known as "Mill End Mill") is situated in Waterfoot, Rossendale.
It was probably built around the middle of the 19th Century as a cotton mill.
can't find much info on it unfortunatley :(
Joshua Hoyles (Textiles) Ltd was the last occupants.
Inghams Boxes had the mill in the 60s/70s
Recently the mill has had a few fires (mostly confined to the single storey section).

I liked going in the mines the best, we still need to try the Lee quarry mine one day when you are fit and well, going to try the Glen riverside tunnel next.

Yay, be good to see you again after so long.
i'll be out of action for ages yet though with leg business :(

not doing too bad so far.
no physio has happened yet or news of a new leg.
suppose it's still too soon to do anything after having it chopped off.
just stuck on the ward all the time in a room with 3 old men.
i have the laptop, tv and phone, so keeping myself nicely occupied.
be ace if they'd just give me a wheelchair to play on, think it's coming in next few days :D

i'm going to set phone to video, then whizz around the corridors and stuff.
