Group explore with Magpie423, his mate Pockets, TheStig and Nic81. Thanks goes out to Magpie for reccomending this place and also for the lift - I don't drive so am normally cycling everywhere.

This is the first time I have been out in a group other than the odd explore with a friend. I was soon put at ease though, and we all had a great time and already we're talking about more joint ventures.

I can't tell you much about this place other than what you can see in the pictures so lets rock on...

I know not everyone is a fan of HDR but I'm quite proud of how this one came out.

OK, a little creepy!

Through some very clever on-site investigations, I was able to determin this was ran by a business called Mandate. :)

...And through equally rigurous methods, figured out they made clothing.

Accidentally underexposed shot. Was going to discard but I quite like the moody look of it.

It's not really an explore until you bag the token 'chair shot' :)

Ditto the token mirror shot.

Just time to nab a front shot before we are driving to the next place.

The site is pretty bare but was a nice little find with lots of cubby holes. Will get a few more pics later once I have done a bit more work on them.

is this the old " CWS (Co-operative Wholesale Society) Drug Works building" then became mandate clothing

Nice One MrD,
I never feel it’s a complete explore until I spot the shopping trolley:).

I have been quite busy this week so know zero about this place and it's history. Sounds about right to me though. Anyone else want to fill in the blanks on this place a bit more?

Yeah it's the same place, the old co-op building used to stand where aldi is now but was demolished by Haydens Northern back in the early 80's and the co-op print works (next to the metro steps) about 8 years ago by Thompsons. The author of that article is a friend of mine by the way

I've gone past this building loads of times and wondered what it looked like inside so thanks for the reveal! Especially liked the HDR & Black and White shots, excellent stuff

Thanks for the nice comments! Finally got a few more pics ready so have a few more...

Nothing done to this picture - We just look like that :p

Is it normal to get excited when you spot a hole through the floor?

Pipe porn

This door has been inscribed with "Warning: F**king big drop!". All H&S signage should be this frank IMHO.

More dolls from Hades.
