Visited here recently with DHL & Carl747! Epic day out, avoiding security, all the usual fun! History nicked from Car747

Moneystone Quarry has been quarried by the Sibelco Group since the late 1960's for silica sands, mainly for the production of container glass and ceramics.

Quarrying came to a stop in September 2011 after a planning application to extend the quarry further was rejected. Laver Leisure purchased the 420 acre site to develop a new £50 million leisure complex.

Yeh me too! All the traffic lights and stuff were still on too lol!

I used to do a lot of maintenance work up here,a shame for it to close.is the rock pecker still in the crusher house?
