Visited here recently with DHL & Carl747! Epic day out, avoiding security, all the usual fun! History nicked from Car747 :p

Moneystone Quarry has been quarried by the Sibelco Group since the late 1960's for silica sands, mainly for the production of container glass and ceramics.

Quarrying came to a stop in September 2011 after a planning application to extend the quarry further was rejected. Laver Leisure purchased the 420 acre site to develop a new £50 million leisure complex.
