I am very fortunate to live 16 miles from this facility and soon as I heard about it I was down there in a flash! I'm very new to UE (three asylums) and this place ROOOOOOOOOOOOCKS!!!!!

The security actually do there job here as there were NO holes in the perimeter and patrol frequently. We spent a total of 6.5 hours and went to all the building we wanted to see. Highlights for me were Cell 4 and the Air House roof! I suggest planning ahead and taking a map!

Only run in with sec was on the way out when Zach decided to climb the gantry by the Exhauster building leading to Cell 4 to get a shot of the piping. Zach was outside the Exhauster and I was inside and I could hear the sec checking the door was secure as I stood about 1 meter away from it.

Pyestock really is one of the best there is

The quality of the photos is good enough fella, but then you can't go blaming Tesco's (unless Anthony Worrall Thompson is a relative of course) the Exif data hidden in your photos says otherwise.......

What's annoying is I have an slr but it's not digital and can't be arsed to use it. Zach did have his decent bridge camera but he's a pain in the ass to get the pics off! Yes, I'm embarrassed I had to use the phone!

Old and ill-informed gossip

Prudential Property Investment Managers (PRUPIM) own the site and hold the plans to build a massive super-depot using developers Astral. Tesco were the only party interested in using this depot, but have since pretty much bailed out of the project.

If its any consolation Tank, we've tried three or four times and failed. Still the resulting sloe picking gave us three bottles of the best sloe gin I've tasted! Ill wind 'n all that!!!
