Gray, Dunn & Co the bakers and biscuit manufacturers was founded in 1853 and received a Royal Warrant from Queen Victoria. The firm's factory was built in Stanley Street in Kinning Park in 1862 but destroyed by fire thirteen years later and had to be rebuilt. In addition to biscuits, Gray, Dunn & Co baked cakes and bread at Kinning Park.

The firm was acquired by Bilsland Brothers in 1912. Today, Gray, Dunn & Co's colourful biscuit tins are collectors items.

I had a small wander yesterday, Security Guard took me round and let me into a few areas that would be otherwise locked up. No hdr to be found so that there are plenty of dry eyes ;-)
The place is very empty and there is not alot to see inside sorry for the volume of pics but I am sure there is a few jems amoung them.

Now that is a nice secca bloke, a top man!

Some nice shots there, thanks for posting them up :)

Yeah there is security. It was a short wander but a massive site. I think that I am going to do the derelict underground at the Botanical Gardens Glasgow it is completely visible for public view as there is a massive skylight / hole looking down onto the old platform area so no need for secrets. Thanks mods for a wonderful job
